On July 21, 2025, the SIADO organization conducted a training focused on the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) referral pathway. This training aimed to empower participants from SIADO to effectively address and support victims of various forms of violence.
Objectives:
- Raise Awareness: Educate participants about GBV and its impact on communities.
- Enhance Referral Mechanisms: Provide knowledge on how to connect victims with local support services and resources.
- Empower the Community: Equip SIADO staff and community members to advocate against GBV and support vulnerable populations.
Key Outcomes:
- Improved understanding of GBV issues among attendees.
- Established a network for referring victims to nearby support centers.
- Strengthened community advocacy efforts against violence targeting vulnerable individuals.
