We champion and advance gender equality and development among the nations and communities we work for thus promoting to gender inclusivity, equality and increased entitlement and enjoyment of human rights by women and girls in Somalia by advocating for gender sensitive policies and improving the management, programming, and sustainability of local women’s rights networks and movements, enhancing their ability to deliver quality services, and increasing the effectiveness of Somali women’s rights forums and platforms.

SIADO envisages to render opportunities for and strengthen women and girl’s economic rights and enhance economic self-reliance by promoting sustainable and affordable access to economic opportunities and rights. We also champion and foster women political participation and inclusivity and assist in developing and supporting progressive policies and programmes aimed at achieving women political rights and justice.
