SIADO is a non-Governmental and non-profit humanitarian organization that is registered with the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Somalia and legally mandated to operate in all the regional states of Somalia including: Galmudug, Puntland, South West State, Hirshabelle state, Jubaland and Banadir region
SIADO intends to expand its operations in the entire Horn of Africa region in the near future. The formation of SIADO was a response of the need to accord humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable population in Somalia who has been affected by natural disasters and languishing in humanitarian crisis.

We provide food assistance to communities affected by both natural and man-made disasters across Somalia to prevent loss of life and to contribute to the rehabilitation of local food and market infrastructure and systems. We advocate for proactive policies and promote livelihood programmes and strategies that protect, recover and strengthen individuals’ and households’ abilities to earn a living and enhance community resilience to withstand the effects of drought and famine
