1. Overview of the Crisis
\nThis comprehensive field report focuses on the escalating shelter and survival needs of the
\nInternally Displaced People (IDPs) currently residing in the Campasa Refugee camps. During
\nthe visit, it was observed that hundreds of families lack adequate protection from the
\nenvironment.

\n2. Shelter and Living Conditions
\nThe majority of Internally Displaced People are living in traditional "buuls" or makeshift
\nstructures that are structurally unsound. These houses offer no security during rain or extreme
\nheat, creating a precarious living situation for children and the elderly.

3. Resource Access and Documentation
\nBeyond shelter, access to essential resources remains critical. Site assessments included
\nmonitoring resource distribution points where local residents queue for water and basic
\nnecessities.

\n4. Field Team Assessment
\nOur dedicated field team, including the female assessment officers, visited the site to verify
\nreports and speak directly with the affected Internally Displaced People. The team highlighted
\nthat the lack of shelter is directly contributing to health and safety concerns.

5. Recommendations
\nAs reported by Abdall Ashraf, the primary recommendation is the immediate delivery of
\nemergency shelter kits. Supporting the Internally Displaced People in Campasa remains a
\nhumanitarian priority for the Siado Organization.<\/p>\n
